Question about J.J. Kelly

From a Pioneer fan, what can we expect from Kelly this week. Who are their main guys?

Wing T running attack with the FB being IMHO there best ball carryer OK speed but not anything near what Lebanon has. Limited Passing game.

D is Average with IMHO pass coverave being there weak point


Lebanon undersized on the o-line but solid blockers and the fastest TB I have seen this season in Helburt and Cobb being a solid #2 back. QB wise Lee is a BIG running threat but not that great throwing the ball IMHO there #2 QB is IMHO a better passer

I agree with you completely on Lebanon. Helbert is probably the fastest back in SWVA and Cobb doesn't miss a beat when in there. Lee has the stringer arm of the 2 QB's but wants to run every time and makes bad decisions with the ball alot. He is a great runner though. When Jesse comes in they become more of a balanced attack. They will change QB's every single possession, which kills me.
They are undersized on the line but very quick and have improved their tackling and blocking since the midway point.

Does Kelly run much misdirection. That is Lebanon's weakness. They are quick but overagressive at times. They were much better against Tazewell who ran alot of misdirection though.

The Wing T can use alot of misdirection however Kelly seems to use it more as a power formation with a nice conter/scissers play thrown in.


As far as Lebanon goes I THINK there O would be scary to defend if they would have Jesse at QB, Helburt at RB and Lee and Cobb at the WR spots......That IMHO is something that would keep alot of D cordanaters up at night

You have to have Stephen Martin in there. He is by far their best WR. Get it near him and he will catch it.
